Maryland State Police say missing 1-year-old boy found unharmed

Maryland State Police say a 1-year-old boy has been found unharmed after an AMBER Alert was issued out of Baltimore County early Monday morning. The alert went out around 5 a.m. and said that Damarie Williams was last seen around midnight in the Essex area of the county. Around 5:45 a.m. police said the child was found and wasn’t hurt.



Police said they believed to be with 32-year-old Dariel Lavarr Martin Williams.

Police said that Williams was armed and possibly driving a 2019 White Kia Optima with a Maryland license plate number 9EN8081. WTOP’s Jessica Kronzer contributed to this report.

Driver dead after Prince George’s Co. Police officer shoots him in Camp Springs

Authorities are investigating after a shooting involving a police officer in Prince George's County, Maryland. It started after 11:30 p.m. last night, when officers saw a pair of cars drive down Reamy Drive near Suitland Road and Randolph Road in Camp Springs. Prince George's County Police say one of the cars drove off the road and through someone's yard toward the officers. At some point, one of the officers on scene fired his weapon, hitting the driver, a man.
