Man arrested in connection to armed robbery in Northwest DC pharmacy

A man was arrested in connection to an armed robbery of a pharmacy in Northwest D.C. Friday. Police said Jamari Brighthaupt, 25, of Southeast D.C., was wearing a ski mask when he entered a pharmacy in the 1800 block of Columbia Road NW and demanded prescription medications. He then, "jumped over the counter and made additional demands while brandishing a firearm," police said. Brighthaupt then fled the pharmacy with stolen prescription drugs, according to police.
