McDonald’s selling Big Mac Special Sauce

WASHINGTON — Are your two all-beef patties, lettuce, cheese, pickles and onions on a sesame-seed bun missing a little extra oomph?

Burger fans may be one step closer to getting the same flavor as McDonald’s Big Mac at home with the release of one of its key ingredients: the special sauce.

The Big Mac Special Sauce is for sale – but only in Australia. The sauce went on sale on eBay and the proceeds benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Australia.

As of Tuesday morning, there’s a bid of more than $23,000 Australian dollars for the sauce – that’s more than $17,600 in the U.S.

Unfortunately, the sauce only ships within Australia.

If you don’t have as expensive taste, many website — such as Top Secret Recipes — have their own methods for making Big Mac Special Sauce.
