Man arrested for stabbing death in Georgetown

WASHINGTON – A 32-year-old man was charged with first-degree murder in a stabbing death in Georgetown Wednesday.

On Wednesday, D.C. police arrested Peter Spencer for allegedly killing Harrison Spencer, 71.

Police arrived in the 1600 block of 33rd Street Northwest Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. and found Harrison suffering from stab wounds and showing no signs of life.

Police sources told NBC Washington that the suspect is the son of the homeowner.

They arrested Peter, who lived at the residence with his parents, NBC Washington reports.
