Pedestrian hit, killed in Hyattsville

HYATTSVILLE, Md. (AP) — Prince George’s County Police say a man was killed when he walked into the path of a car in Hyattsville.

It happened about 3:45 a.m. Saturday on Ager Road. Officers say 30-year-old Bruce Coppage of no fixed address was not in a crosswalk when he walked into the road and was hit. He died at a local hospital.

Police say the driver stayed at the scene. The accident is under investigation.
