Police seek woman who may have info on Alexandria homicide

WASHINGTON – Police are searching for a woman who may have information about the murder of a Fairfax County Public Schools employee last week.

The woman, whose sketch was released Thursday, was spotted near the scene of the fatal shooting of 24-year-old Tarreece Sampson of Alexandria, police said. Sampson, a Fairfax County Schools aide, was shot May 20 around 2:20 a.m. in the 6000 block of Richmond Highway.

Sampson later died, and police are investigating the case as a homicide.

The woman was seen in a nearby parking lot prior to the incident, police said. She is described as black, with a light complexion and almond-shaped eyes.
