Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo hurt at Valladolid

MADRID (AP) — Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo was injured during Wednesday night’s Spanish league game at Real Valladolid.

Ronaldo came off in the eighth minute at the Jose Zorilla Stadium without showing any clear signs of being in pain, just moments after his long run through the opponent’s half ended when he clashed with a defender.

He was sidelined from April 2 to 23 because of a left knee and left muscle injury, returning to play in Madrid’s Champions League semifinal win over Bayern Munich.

Ronaldo has scored 50 goals this season in all competitions, including a league-leading 31 goals.
