Vehicle vandalism incidents reported in Montgomery County

WASHINGTON – Montgomery County Police are alerting residents to an increase in incidents of vandalism to vehicles.

The vandalism includes slashed tires, broken windows and spray painted vehicles. Incidents have been occurring primarily on weekend nights after 10 p.m. in the Rockville and Potomac areas, according to police officials.

Since April 5, Montgomery County Police Department 1st District officers have responded to at least 20 reports of vandalism to vehicles.

Police are asking that anyone who observes suspicious activity contact the Montgomery County Police through the non-emergency number: 301-279-8000.
