WASHINGTON — This weekend’s top concerts include a little bit of everything: Hair bands, classic funk and even a Latin pop legend.

Friday and Saturday, the M3 Rock Festival takes over Merriweather Post Pavilion.

The annual festival features over a dozen classic hair metal bands. This year’s lineup includes Kix, Extreme, Lita Ford and Tesla.

Also scheduled for Friday at the Patriot Center is rapper Ludacris.

Saturday at the State Theatre, legendary saxophonist Maceo Parker performs.

Parker has played with legends like James Brown, Parliament-Funkadelic and Prince.

Also scheduled for Saturday at the Music Center at Strathmore is singer Julio Iglesias, whose performance is part of the Strathmore’s 2014 Spring Gala.
