Man catches 805-pound mako shark (Video)

WASHINGTON — Every fisherman has a story about the “big one.”

But Joey Polk of Milton, Fla. really does.

He caught an 11-foot, 805-pound mako shark at a secret location in Florida, setting a possible new world record for land-based shark fishing — a record his cousin holds.
