WASHINGTON — Former Playboy model and talk show personality Jenny McCarthy is engaged to singer and actor Donnie Wahlberg, McCarthy announced on ABC’s “The View” Wednesday morning.
McCarthy, 41, and Wahlberg, 44, met on the set of McCarthy’s now-canceled talk show on VH1, sources told E!.
McCarthy told her Twitter followers to watch “The View” Wednesday.

E! reports that McCarthy was married to actor John Asher for six years and has one son. She also dated comedian Jim Carrey for about five years.
McCarthy has gotten significant attention for speaking out against vaccinating children. Wahlberg was married to Kim Fey for nine years and has two children.
