WASHINGTON — Wednesday will be the lucky day for eight Washington Capitals fans who will each get a pair of tickets to the upcoming second-round playoff series against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

As of 9 a.m. Wednesday, fans can search for enlarged versions of the letters that spell “Capitals,” throughout the District. The winners will receive two tickets to Thursday’s first game of the seven-game series.

Location clues will be released each hour until 4 p.m. through the team’s official Twitter account — @WashCaps.

One more thing — as contestants find the individual letters, they have to say “Rock the Red,” according to the team.

The Capitals sponsored a similar scavenger hunt before their first round series against the Flyers.

Game 2: Saturday, April 30, 8 p.m. at Washington
