Arrests made in string of D.C. armed robberies

WASHINGTON – District police say they arrested two men in connection with a string of armed robberies committed during the last week.

Police say Aaron Walker, 27, and Shadonna Fate, 24, were involved with several robberies on Monday, Feb. 13 and Tuesday, Feb. 14. The suspects took cash, cell phones, clothing and other property.

The robberies took place on the 1400 block of First Street, the 1900 block of 11th Street and the 3700 block of Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue.

The suspect drove a gray, 1995 Lincoln Town Car, police say.

Anyone with information is asked to call (202) 727-9099.

Police do not believe these robberies are connected to other robberies in Tenleytown and Friendship Heights.
