Power restored in D.C.

WASHINGTON — Pepco says it’s restored electricity to more than 2,200 Pepco customers in the District.

The outages were in Northeast, near the Capitol, and initially, more than than 3,300 were reported.

The outages stretched from the the Northeast D.C. limits, south to almost the Capitol Building.

Pepco did not say what caused the outages.

According to a tweet from the Metropolitan Police Department, several intersections were affected:
