Power restored to thousands in Upper Marlboro after outage

WASHINGTON — About 2,000 Pepco customers were without electricity Wednesday morning in Prince George’s County, along Crain Highway and Largo Road in the Upper Marlboro area.

Pepco said at about 7:30 a.m. that the outage was due to a burned connection that has been repaired. They had power back on to virtually everyone later in the morning.
