WASHINGTON – The Washington Capitals would like to wish you a very merry holiday season.

And, of course, they sent along a video musical card.

The video opens with team captain Alex Ovechkin, in Santa hat and one of the ugliest holiday sweaters, singing off-key to “Jingle Bells.”

After asking for back up, the team “plays” their instruments to a rocking version of the classic Christmas song.
