Street closures for ‘Jackie’ filming may affect weekend traffic

WASHINGTON– Several streets will be closed this weekend as Natalie Portman and others film scenes for an upcoming film.

On Saturday, Feb. 27, crews will film from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on 17th Street NW between “E” Street NW and Constitution Avenue NW.

On Sunday, Feb. 28, crews will film from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on 15th Street NW between New York Avenue NW and “E” Street NW. Filming will also take place from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on 14th Street between “E” and “F” Streets, Northwest.

‘Jackie’, a film about the days immediately following the assassination of John F. Kennedy, is set for a 2017 release. Natalie Portman stars as Jackie O. Kennedy.

Large sinkhole on Md. 214 expected to cause delays

A large sinkhole in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, has shut down a portion of Md. Route 214 in Davidsonville. Commuters should plan for delays to last through rush hour, officials said.
