Be picture perfect with these pro tips (Video)

WASHINGTON — Are you ready to be picture perfect this holiday season?

If getting in front of the camera makes you queasy, check out some of these tips from professional photographer Peter Hurley.

Firstly, don’t pose with your eyes wide open like a deer in headlights. Instead, Hurley recommends “squinching.” Not quite a squint, this move involves slightly closing the distance between your eyebrows and your eyelids to produce a smiling eye effect.

Another tip to remember is to keep your jaw low and out away from your body. This creates a stronger line and camoflauges saggy skin or double chins.
