Washington – The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will close Good Hope Road SE from Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE to Anacostia Drive SE starting at 6 p.m. Wednesday through 5 a.m. Thursday. Motorists will also encounter intermittent 10-minute traffic stoppages on Good Hope Road SE between Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE and Anacostia Drive SE between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 7, and Wednesday, February 8. These road closures will allow DDOT to demolish the existing flyover ramp over Good Hope Road SE.
During the closures, signed detours will be posted.
