DDOT will close a portion of westbound New York Avenue Thursday night while crews work on the railway bridge between Florida Avenue and 9th Street NE.

Here’s what you need to know:

• The closures are scheduled to begin 10 p.m. Thursday and continue through 5 a.m. Friday.
• Inbound New York Avenue will be closed between Penn Street and Florida Avenue with a detour posted.
• Outbound New York Avenue will have a single lane open between Florida Avenue and Penn Street.
