WASHINGTON — Four people were injured Saturday when an SUV crashed into a Northeast D.C. storefront.

The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. at the Dolcezza Gelato Factory & Coffee Lab at Union Market, located on Penn Street, Northeast, at Brentwood Parkway.

According to police, three adults and one minor were injured. At this time, no information has been released about the extent of their injuries.

The investigation is ongoing into the cause of the crash.
