Buses collide on way to march

WASHINGTON – There was trouble this morning for some of the many people headed to the 50th-anniversary commemoration of the March on Washington.

Three charter buses taking a group from Detroit into downtown D.C. got into an accident around 8 a.m. near Connecticut Avenue and Devonshire Place in Northwest.

Metropolitan Police Department Capt. Jeffrey Herold says that five people were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
