Fans Get a Chance to Win Game Ball Used to End Warriors’ Winning Streak

(MILWAUKEE) —  The Milwaukee Bucks are giving fans a chance to win a special game ball.

The team is giving away the ball used in Saturday’s game that brought the Golden State Warriors’ undefeated streak to an end.

“It was a night for the ages,” reads the sweepstakes announcement on the Bucks’ website. “Golden State came into the BMO Harris Bradley Center looking to continue a 24 game winning streak to begin the 2015-16 season. The red hot Warriors were met by a raucous Milwaukee crowd and a young Bucks team ready to break the streak.”

Bucks vice president of marketing Dustin Godsey told ESPN the team owed the win to the “home crowd” and the “excitement around this game and coach [Jason] Kidd.”

“We wanted to find a way to give back to the fans,” he said.

Fans must visit the Bucks website by Wednesday, Dec. 16. to win the ball. The Bucks will notify the winner by next week. See the official rules here.
