With a median age of 26 years old The 18th Street Singers, is an ensemble of young people living, learning, and working in the DC area. Since it’s founding in the fall of 2004, the 44‐voice ensemble has already landed a slew of prestigious gigs, including engagements at Strathmore, the National Gallery of Art, and the National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony with President Barack Obama. This Friday and Saturday The 18th Street Singers Concert “In These Our Darkest Hours”, taking on a somber subject with uplifting program. First Trinity Lutheran Church (in Judiciary Square) on January 20 and 21 at 7:30pm. Tickets $10
