Pedestrian struck, seriously injured in Germantown

WASHINGTON — A man was seriously injured after he was struck by a vehicle Sunday in Montgomery County, Maryland.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the intersection of Frederick and Middlebrook roads in Germantown at around 7:40 p.m., according to Pete Piringer, a spokesman for Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service.

Piringer said the man’s injuries were considered life threatening.
