Thousands of Pepco customers without power

WASHINGTON – More than 3,200 Pepco customers were without power Wednesday night.

Prince George’s County bore the brunt. They experienced 3,121 customers in the dark.

Mount Rainier, Hyattsville and College Park were hit with more than 2,000 outages.

Oxon Hill and Southeast D.C. were also affected.

Pepco crews had most of the power restored by 9 p.m., though some 300 people are still without electricity.
