Bethesda collision sends 2 pedestrians to the hospital early Wed.

WASHINGTON — Two pedestrians have been hospitalized after they were hit by a car in Bethesda on Wednesday morning.

The car struck the two people just after 6 a.m. on Route 355 at Cedar Lane.

Both of them were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries, a spokesman for the Montgomery County Fire tells WTOP, but they’re expected to survive.

The driver stayed at the scene after the crash. There is no word yet whether the driver or walkers may have been at fault, or whether any charges will be filed.
