WASHINGTON – The governor of New Jersey stopped by “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” on Wednesday to “slow jam the news” about his state’s upcoming special senatorial election.

Gov. Chris Christie talked about New Jersey’s October election, his weight and the possibility of a 2016 presidential run.

When Fallon started riffing on Christie, the governor responded, “Yeah, it hurts, so step off, brother.”

Fallon responded, “Isn’t that what your bathroom scale says each morning?”
