Power restored near Metro Red Line station

WASHINGTON — Power has been restored near a Metro Red Line station that lost third-rail power Thursday. Metro told riders around 5:45 p.m. that riders should expect delays between Twinbrook and Shady Grove due to a third-rail power problem at Shady Grove. The power problems were resolved at about 6:10 p.m.

Red Line: Power problem has been resolved at Shady Grove. Trains resuming operations to/from Shady Grove & Rockville w/residual delays.
