WASHINGTON – A woman was stabbed along an Arlington County trail Saturday morning.

ABC7 reports the woman was walking alone along the Four Mile Run trail near Glencarlyn Park when a man attacked her with a knife.

Her injuries are not life-threatening. Police do not have a description of the man and are still investigating the assault.

Last year, a woman was sexually assaulted at knifepoint along the same trail.
