3 hurt when car crashes into Fairfax Co. Wendy’s

WASHINGTON — Three people are hospitalized after a car slammed into a fast-food restaurant in Fairfax County Tuesday. A car crashed into the Wendy’s located at 12902 Lee Jackson Memorial Highway in Chantilly at about 12:45 p.m. Tuesday. Three people inside the restaurant sustained injuries in the crash. One person’s injuries are critical, says Dan Gray, deputy chief with the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue. Police and fire crews are responding to the scene. The driver of the car refused treatment, Gray says.

Super Pet Expo offers its first in-person event in Virginia since pandemic began

A Virginia pet expo running through Sunday is hoping to help those who recently got new pets to find what they need. Eric Udler, producer of the Super Pet Expo at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, said that there has been a significant increase in pets being adopted with so many people working from home.
