Police: Suspect sought in Annandale bank robbery

WASHINGTON – Fairfax County police are looking for the person who robbed an M&T Bank in Annandale, Virginia on Saturday.

Police said a male entered the M&T branch, located at 7857 Heritage Drive, at around noon. He  passed a teller note demanding money and left the scene after an undisclosed amount of cash was handed over, police said.

Police described the suspect as a white male with brown hair wearing a brown-colored jacket. In an effort to identify the person, police have released images from surveillance footage.

Super Pet Expo offers its first in-person event in Virginia since pandemic began

A Virginia pet expo running through Sunday is hoping to help those who recently got new pets to find what they need. Eric Udler, producer of the Super Pet Expo at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, said that there has been a significant increase in pets being adopted with so many people working from home.
