POINT OF ROCKS, Md. (AP) – A fire official says a body has been found near the Point of Rocks boat ramp.
Carroll Manor Fire Chief Andy Arnold says a passerby called police about 4:10 p.m. Sunday to report the body. Arnold told The Frederick News Post that a medical examiner was on the scene.
The fire official says the body was found near mile marker 48 on the C&O Canal.
