Former president George H.W. Bush taken to hospital

WASHINGTON — CNN and other media outlets are reporting that former President George H.W. Bush has been taken to a hospital after experiencing shortness of breath.

They add that a statement from his office says that the move was a precautionary measure.

Bush, 90, was hospitalized in November 2012 with bronchitis, CNN says, but recovered after two months.
