D.C. student arrested with pellet gun at school

WASHINGTON (AP) – A 14-year-old student who brought a pellet gun to school in Northeast Washington was arrested after a classmate told a teacher he’d seen the gun.

Police say they were called to the Noyes Education Campus in the 2700 block of 10th Street NE on Thursday morning. Police say a student saw the boy with the gun inside a bathroom and told a teacher.

Police say no shots were fired and no one was injured. The teen was charged as a juvenile with possession of a pellet gun.
