WASHINGTON – Police in Lafayette, Louisiana say there are “multiple victims” after a shooting at a theater Thursday night. An ambulance official tells the Associated Press that two people are dead, including a gunman. Police say the shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. At this time, the severity of the injuries is unclear.

Lafayette Police received the call at approximately 730 pm, shooting involves multiple victims.

Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal says, on Twitter, that he is on his way to Lafayette.
