You can have lunch with Stephen Colbert at your desk all week (Video)

WASHINGTON — Do you eat lunch alone at your desk? You don’t have to anymore. This week, it can get a lot weirder.

This week, comedian/TV host Stephen Colbert says he’s releasing a video per day this week on his YouTube channel, in which he eats his lunch at the cubicle next to you, while making conversation, offering advice and just generally — well, being Stephen Colbert.

Or, as he titles it, “Stephen Colbert has Stephen Colbert’s Daily Lunch With You, Starring Stephen Colbert.”

The series debuted Monday, as Colbert made himself comfortable and unpacked his lunch, explaining that as he’s trying to lose weight, he’s practicing portion control by sticking with “small-sounding foods” such as Little Caesar’s, Thin Mints and baby back ribs.

Lenin Gutierrez, 24, was working his usual shift at a San Diego Starbucks on a Monday morning when a woman -- who was not wearing a mask -- walked in and attempted to place an order, he told CNN.
