Pedestrian Struck At Nicholson Lane

A pedestrian was struck by a car just before 1:30 p.m. today near the intersection of Nicholson Lane and Rockville Pike.

Police reported the pedestrian was a 77-year-old man and was rushed to Suburban Hospital. Police were called to the incident at about 1:26 p.m.

Police remained with others involved in the incident near the scene at the Exxon gas station just west of Rockville Pike.

There was no word on the condition of the pedestrian.
