WASHINGTON — D.C. Police are investigating a fatal accident in the Glover Park area of Northwest Washington.

A woman was hit by a car along Wisconsin Avenue near Calvert Street Thursday night. It happened around 6:15 p.m.

Police say the driver stayed on the scene. Investigators have not released any additional information about the crash, and the woman has not yet been identified.

On Wednesday, another pedestrian accident at Wisconsin Avenue near Veazey Street left one man with serious injuries.
