Tagg Romney mentions taking ‘a swing’ at Obama

WASHINGTON – Tagg Romney said that he wanted to “take a swing” at President Barack Obama when things got intense at a recent presidential debate between the president and his father, Mitt.

Tagg Romney said he doesn’t like hearing accusations that his father isn’t telling the truth. But he told a North Carolina radio host that he knows he has to “kind of sit there and take our punches.”

Tagg Romney also said his father is like anyone before debates and “gets butterflies a little bit.”

ABC News reports a campaign aide later said the remarks were made jokingly.
