Boy nearly drowns at Md. pool

WASHINGTON — A 7-year-old boy is being observed at a hospital after nearly drowning in a Rockville pool Monday.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue officials arrived at the pool located on Yale Place around 1:30 p.m. where they found an adult performing CPR on the child.

The boy had already been resuscitated by the CPR when officials got there.

Emergency crews transported the boy to an area hospital where he is under observation and stable.
