Missing 72-year-old Montgomery County woman found

WASHINGTON — Montgomery County police reported Thursday morning that Rita Cummings has been found and reunited with her family.

WASHINGTON – Police in Montgomery County, Maryland are asking for help finding a missing 72-year-old woman.

Rita Cummings, of Montgomery Village, was last seen around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Milestone Shopping Center in Germantown.

She is described as a white woman, standing 5-feet-1-inch tall and weighing about 120 pounds. She has brown eyes and maroon-colored hair. Cummings speaks with a slight Caribbean accent and walks with a hunch.

Police say they and family members are concerned for Cummings’ physical and mental well-being.
