Pedestrian dies after motorcycle crash

WASHINGTON — A pedestrian involved in a crash in D.C. just before the Cherry Blossom Ten Miler Run earlier this month has died.

A motorcycle/pedestrian crash happened on eastbound Independence Avenue at Kutz Bridge in Southwest D.C. about 5:55 a.m. on April 12. On Tuesday, the pedestrian involved in the crash died, according to information police released Thursday.

The pedestrian’s name has not yet been released.

The crash remains under investigation.

Earlier this month, police were seeking information from anyone who may have been in the area the morning of the crash.
