Man reported missing in D.C. located

UPDATE: D.C. police say they have found Derrick Tyson, who had been reported missing Wednesday.

Police announced he’d been located late Thursday night.

WASHINGTON – The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for help finding a “critical missing” 49-year-old man.

Derrick Tyson was last seen at 1:10 p.m. Wednesday, in the 100 block of Irving Street, Northwest. Tyson is described as 6-feet-1-inch tall, weighing 175 pounds, with brown eyes. When he was last seen, he was wearing a striped t-shirt, tan pants and grey tennis shoes. Police say Tyson has a salt-and-pepper beard and a bald spot on his head.
