Water spout forms in Mechanicsville, Md.

WASHINGTON – No one was hurt Tuesday evening when a water spout formed near Mechanicsville, Md.

The water spout, which is a tornado that forms over water, was in the small town of Hallowing Point. While a tornado warning was issued at 6 p.m., the funnel never touched ground.

The warning expired by 6:30 p.m. without incident.
