Fairfax County Police Department spokesman arrested for child pornography

WASHINGTON —  A spokesman for the Fairfax County Police Department was arrested Wednesday and charged with two counts of possession of child pornography.

PFC William “Bud” Walker has been processed and is being held without bond as the investigation continues.

Walker was initially hired in 1999 and worked patrol until 2004, when he was made public information officer. In 2006 he went back to patrol, serving as the school resource officer at South County High School until 2009. He then returned to the public information office before being let go on April 9.

Super Pet Expo offers its first in-person event in Virginia since pandemic began

A Virginia pet expo running through Sunday is hoping to help those who recently got new pets to find what they need. Eric Udler, producer of the Super Pet Expo at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, said that there has been a significant increase in pets being adopted with so many people working from home.
