Car crashes into Annandale bakery, injuring 6 people

ANNANDALE, Va. (AP) — Fairfax County police say six people are injured after a car crashed into a bakery storefront in Annandale. Police say the car ran over a curb Sunday afternoon and crashed into the Napoleon Bakery on Tom Davis Drive about 2 p.m. Six people, including the driver of the Lexus, suffered apparent non-life-threatening injuries. Police photographs show the car drove all the way into the bakery store. Police say charges are pending in the case. The bakery is now closed until authorities determine the structural integrity of the building.

A Virginia pet expo running through Sunday is hoping to help those who recently got new pets to find what they need. Eric Udler, producer of the Super Pet Expo at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, said that there has been a significant increase in pets being adopted with so many people working from home.
