At team store, Nats fans stock up on historic merchandise

Snook, in from Nashville, has standing-room seats with her sister. "I just moved like seven months ago and I used to live across the street," Snook said. "And I really miss coming to the games all the time, so I said, 'I got to be here.'"

"Bringin' It Home" T-shirt ($45) — The "Bringin' It Home" T-shirt should probably be layered over something during this Game 4.

Nats Half-Zip ($80) — A half-zip would be a good call, considering that the temperature could drop into the high 50s Tuesday night.

Nats "breakaway scarf" ($30, obviously) — It arguably won't be scarf-cold for Tuesday night's Game 4, but who knows what kind of temperatures the World Series will bring?

Nats blanket ($38) — Now <em>this</em> looks warm. Should be machine washable, too, in case you're worried about nacho stains.

From left: crystal baseball ($1,000), crystal bat ($2,000) and crystal helmet ($1,500) — If the prices of that stuff give you pause, please note that they can be higher. A $1,500 crystal helmet doesn't look terribly warm, does it?

Hugh Kaufman, the Nats' "Rubber Chicken Man" — Hugh Kaufman, the Nats' "Rubber Chicken Man," dropped by the team store to do some shopping, and he also brought his own buttons. He points out that the Washington Senators went to the World Series the year Nats' former managing principal owner Ted Lerner was born. Did we mention it's Mr. Lerner's birthday today?

Postseason Nats hat ($45) — Milton White of D.C. has a hat for every year, and he managed to score the last size 7 5/8 postseason hat.

The Washington Nationals have a date with destiny, and fans shopped for an NLCS Game 4 outfit that’s appropriate for sweeping away St. Louis.

A Nats-red October, of course, is still October, and fans shopped for items, such as such, hoodies and sleeved attire at the Nationals Team Store — because World Series dreams can only warm the heart so much.

The Washington Nationals showed off their trophy from winning the 2019 World Series in front of their local fans in South Florida during a parade on Thursday, February 20. Spring Training kicked off recently, and the first preseason game is Saturday, February 22, against the Houston Astros, the team they defeated in the World Series. Before the parade started, Michael A. Taylor and Sean Doolittle mingled with fans, some of whom were wearing hats supporting the local Miami Marlins. However, the West Palm Beach fans showed their support, as players like Kurt Suzuki, Trea Turner and Howie Kendrick rode in cars and buses through the main streets of Clemantis.
