Two shot in Southeast D.C. Thursday

WASHINGTON – Two people are in the hospital after being shot Thursday afternoon, just blocks from the site of a triple-shooting on Monday.

The shooting happened before 2 p.m. in the 2200 blocks of Savannah Street in southeast D.C.

Metropolitan police say two people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The two male victims are 23 and 53 years old. Both were treated and released.

The police are looking for two suspects. One of the suspects was last seen wearing a black skull cap. The other was wearing a white T-shirt.
