Harper’s ‘clown question’ comment gets its own blog

WASHINGTON – On Monday, it was a homage brew. On Tuesday, it’s a tribute website.

Bryce Harper has officially made his mark on baseball.

The slugger/outfielder who made headlines last week when he chastised a Canadian reporter for asking about beer is now the subject of a new blog at ThatsAClownQuestionBro.com.

The site is officially titled “Not A Clown Blog, Bro: Saber-slanted MLB…infused with bits of Bryce- mania.”

And it certainly gets down to business. The inaugural posting at 6:28 a.m. Tuesday analyzes the Mets’ R.A. Dickey’s recent performance, breaking down his new title as the first pitcher to throw back-to-back complete-game one-hitters of 10 or more strikeouts.

The second post gets down to the task at hand a little better, with a video of the Clown Queller himself training with a 47-ounce bat. (If sharp retorts won’t halt stupid questions, this surely will):

Just after 10 a.m. Tuesday, the blog had over 800 page views. Check it out here.
